Muddy fields and even a lightning storm could not throw off Soidawgz's momentum in winning the 1st Malaysia Ultimate Open (MUO 2008). Hosted at Padang Merbok, the 2-day competition saw a total of 10 teams participate - Freakshow Green and White, Disc Knights and Shiok from Singapore, Soidawgz from Thailand, while Satu Lagi, Intec Wildcats, Dengue Fever, Pirates and Borneo Bristleheads the first Ultimate team from Sabah, represent Malaysia.
Teams were divided into two groups of 5 teams each in the group stage and re-seeded into 2 pools on Day 2. The top 3 teams of each group moved into Pool A and the bottom 2 of each group moved into Pool B. |
